AIRPORT TAXICAB SERVICES AGREEMENT
AT THE GAINESVILLE REGIONAL AIRPORT
The Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority (the Authority or GACRAA) is soliciting proposals from licensed, qualified taxicab providers wishing to provide “curb hail” service from the Airport’s commercial airline terminal curb to the passenger’s chosen destination. It is anticipated that contracts will be issued with no less than two (2) and no more than six (6) firms to provide service to customers from the designated taxi queuing/staging area on a first come-first-served basis.
The selection of proposers and the number of contracts awarded shall be at the sole discretion of GACRAA. GACRAA shall select the firms that offer the best combination of price, quality and service as determined by GACRAA or for other reasons determined to be in the best interest of GACRAA.
The term will be an initial three-year agreement with the option of two (2) additional one-year extensions at the discretion of the Authority. Commencement is anticipated on November 1, 2017.

A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gainesville Regional Airport, Passenger Terminal, 3880 N.E. 39th Avenue, Gainesville, Florida 32609.
Proposals must be signed by an authorized official, enclosed in a sealed envelope or package clearly marked: "Proposal No. 17-001 Taxicab Services, ATTN: Lynn Noffsinger, Grants and Contracts Administrator, 3880 N.E. 39th Avenue, Suite A, Gainesville, Florida 32609.
Proposals are due at 4:00 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2017. Proposals WILL NOT be publically opened. The official clock is located in the Authority's Administrative Office. Proposals received after 4:00 p.m., Monday, September 11, 2017 will not be considered. Proposer must submit one original proposal package, clearly marked “Original” and three copies.
Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms are encouraged to participate.
GACRAA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received in response to this Request for Proposals as determined to be in the best interest of the Airport.
